Folk music has a deep history in every culture on Earth, outlasting every era it passes through. From Middle English canons, through Kate Bush and on to Australia’s own contribution to the contemporary folk scene – ‘sad lesbian music’ – Folk for Folx captures the history, beauty, and rawness of folk music through a uniquely queer lens.
